Trainers, shirts and caps

Driftline makes trainers and the clothes worn with them: linen shirts for summer, a fleece hoodie for winter, cotton caps and a woven straw tote.

Three trainers cover most of it — leather low tops, canvas high tops and a suede running shape. Sizes run from 36 to 46.

Three soles, three uses

The low top sits on a cupsole: one thick piece of rubber stitched around the upper, flat underfoot and the hardest wearing of the three. The canvas high top uses a thinner vulcanised sole that bends with the foot, which is why it packs flat for travel.

The running shape is the only one with a foam midsole, so it is the one to take if you are on your feet all day. All three have removable insoles.
